Mr. Thomas graduated from Mississippi State University in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration. He went to work for Southern Administrators and Benefits Consultants implementing Section 125 plans. In 1996 he received an MBA from Mississippi College. He then went to work for Mississippi Deferred Compensation enrolling and administering Section 457 plans for the public employees’ retirement system of Mississippi. In 2003, Mr. Thomas entered the employee benefits business with his father at Stockett and Thomas Agency, LLP. He draws on his experience working with public employees and cafeteria plan enrollees as he works with employers in the private sector to design and implement employee benefit plans. Mr. Thomas is designated as a CRPS® and CRPC®. He holds series 6, 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses.
In his free time, Mr. Thomas enjoys boating, fishing, and playing golf.
